Description

Digital is fast becoming the cornerstone of the future economy. To keep pace with the ever-changing market, it is imperative for companies to evolve their business models, processes and technologies.

Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) launched the Singapore Digital (SG:D) movement last year to encourage the government, companies, organisations and individuals to work together to co-create our shared future, and keep Singapore ahead in the face of global competition.

One effort we have undertaken to guide Singapore to be ready for the digital economy was the IMDA’s Technology Roadmap (TRM), rolled out in 2015 together with the launch of ICM 2025 Masterplan. It charts the vision and trends of the technology landscape in Singapore and provides businesses with insight into the digital and tech development that will make a difference in their growth trajectory.

The very nature of the ever-evolving digital economy requires us to constantly engage and collaborate with key stakeholders such as researchers and industry players to relook, refresh and reinvent our strategies to keep pace with the environment changes.

For this purpose, we would like to involve you to help us refresh the current TRM, join our TechTalk to share your views on driving the development of future digital technologies for our businesses and workforce.

The Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) leads Singapore’s digital transformation with infocomm media. To do this, IMDA will develop a dynamic digital economy and a cohesive digital society, driven by an exceptional infocomm media (ICM) ecosystem – by developing talent, strengthening business capabilities, and enhancing Singapore's ICM infrastructure. IMDA also regulates the telecommunications and media sectors to safeguard consumer interests while fostering a pro-business environment, and enhances Singapore’s data protection regime through the Personal Data Protection Commission.
